Pre-license 4-Day
This 4-day course covers insurance law in preparation for the Texas All-Lines Adjusters License exam.
The Texas All-Lines Insurance Claims Adjuster License is the nation’s most sought after insurance adjusting license due to its reciprocity in 44 states. With this license, you will be eligible to adjust residential and commercial property, automobile, CAT and many other types of claims. This is the license of choice for insurance adjusters – particularly those interested in catastrophic adjusting, staffing, and daily claims.

Scoping 101
The 1-day introduction to the scoping procedure from an insurance adjuster’s standpoint. Topics include methodology behind a proper scope and expectations from the insurance carrier.
Mile High Adjusters Academy offers a one day class using “real life situations”. The class is taught by seasoned Licensed Claim Adjusters who have the experience and time saving secrets that will make your 1st day of scoping a breeze. This class was created for the aspiring adjuster who may be unfamiliar with the elements of residential construction and the proper protocol for an inspection or “scope”. Our class will teach you how to scope a house from beginning to end in 20 minutes with confidence. More importantly, we spell out the many other facets of proper field inspections in an easy-to-understand manner. Measuring the damages is only a fraction of what you need to know to be a proficient adjuster.

Xactimate
This 3 day course is an introduction to the most widely utilized Xactimate property estimating software used in the field by claims adjusters and insurers. The Mile High Training Academy ensures that all Xactimate courses are taught by Trainers that are Xactimate Level III Certified Users. After this 3-day course, you will know how to increase your data entry proficiency in claims writing for yourself, as well as other adjusters, so you will have the ability to enjoy a second cash flow center with your new business. Advanced registration and payment are required. Participants must provide your own computer with the appropriate system requirements, including a version of Xactimate 28 installed.

Bootcamp
Mile High Adjusters Training Academy is now offering a 5-day mentoring Adjuster Boot Camp. This course is designed for the inexperienced, or less experienced, adjuster that wishes to understand the real-time pressure of meeting the insured, scoping the damaged area and producing the claim before taking on field work.
When you leave the Boot Camp, you will have gained the knowledge to improve your time and process management techniques, increase your proficiency in analyzing damages, and have the ability to produce a quality claim report in a timely and efficient manner. There will be a general policy and insurance law review with an emphasis on residential construction terms and definitions that are commonly used in the industry.
This course is designed for the adjuster who is licensed and would like to learn advanced scoping and organizational techniques to increase proficiency in their overall claim output. Basic Xactimate skills are highly recommended.

File Review/Inside Adjust
The File Review course is a 3-day session with an emphasis on training file reviewers, desk adjusters, and examiners who may or may not write estimates as field adjusters.
We teach our adjusters to understand property estimates that are written by field adjusters and provide them with the skills to review these estimates for a variety of technical errors. Estimates will not be written by students, but will be reviewed for common errors in misapplication of estimating software, procedural mistakes, identifying proper coverage, as well as other scoping errors.
Xactimate 28 will be used as the estimating software program for training. Classroom curriculum will consist of building materials, scoping issues, and estimate analysis.
